FTP Castle Lo Mania - Update News

Hi Castle Builders, 
Yes its been a while, I think the last post was in Dec 2024 which is a fair amount of time to pass. So whats been happening with development of the game in that time? Not a lot is the simple answer as Ive been busy with other things and was waiting for some much needed updates to the Unreal Engine 5. Thankfuly Unreal Engine 5 is now up to 5.6, its now available for me to download so I can now start to sort out some of the issues Ive been having in version 5.4. These are little things like transparancy with nanite, lumen and them effecting performance etc. Most of these have had significant performance and technical updates so its all looking good with regards to that new tech in the game, finaly! With regards to huge numbers of Ai that is still a bit away as Im still sorting out some of the UI and game features and ensuring they are all working correctly before I delve into a massive update with Ai numbers. 

Anyway this is just a small post to let you know the game is still under development and I should have a download for you all soon, and yes it will be running in the lastest 5.6 version of the engine. There has been a lot happening with UE5 over the past 6 months and should the game update as planned then it will certainly be good for the game overall.
