Hi Parkers,
I have the game up and running in Unreal Engine 5.4 which is great news. Sadly there are some compiling issues so there will be a slight delay before I can get you the updated game for download. The engine update will make things better in the long run due to updates to Nanite, Lumen, reflections etc. In some cases the engine alone will bring a 30fps increase.

Im currently going through 3 years of development, experiments, forgotten bits of code, unused models etc and cleaning out the entire project from top to bottom. This will give me a far more streamlined project to work with from this point onward. There will be a lot of optimizations to be done as well but that is to be expected given the game is largely a working prototype.

As a prototype you can expect the project to change over the coming months as a simplify it all. This will mean it may look worse for a while before I then update all the graphics, a case of one step back to go two steps foward type of situation. As a developer I have of course been learning a great deal since I last did some dev on this project so there will also be a lot of updates  to improve areas of the game. Unreal engine 5 is still under development so im learnin it as I go but I do believe it will be the best engine for the game in the long run.

What we can look forward to is really nice monument models, building and really nice trees.
