Hi Parkers,

A few updates to report which will be in the next update to the Demo.

* The Repair Shop Building now reduces the cost of repairing items
* Retail items like burgers stands, news stands etc added to the NEW repair system
* Repair Shop Building now repairs donation, lighting and retail items
* Lighting items now show the repair price like the donation items
* Battery Storage cash indicators now go on and off with other cash indicators
* Rubbish And Trash Disposal Bins cash indicators now on and off with other cash indicators
* Light Bulbs now change colour to reflect your chosen colour for the light.
* Damage is now part of the Easy, Medium, Hard settings
* Each item now has a min and max repair value

Above: A picnic table is no longer going to cost the earth to repair.


Above: Lights now show what colour their bulbs are


Above: Colour theme your park so that areas like monuments or burger stands stand out.




Above: Its now much easier to see what colour your lights are during the day and night.

Lighting Notes
There are a lot of options when it comes to lighting within UE5, due to that I have currently set cast shadows to off. A settings menu later through development will allow you to change the settings should your PC be able to handle all of the lights casting shadows etc. Even without shadow casting on I still think the effect is very cool. More to come as development continues.

If you are new to National Parks Tycoon download the Demo to try it out. The game is currently under development and expected for early access Q4 2023. You can keep up to date with progress here on itch or my youtube channel.  These updates should be included in the Demo by the end of June 2023.

Playing Tip
To change the colour of your lights simply right click on the light to move it, the next time you place it the colour will change. There are 7 light colours to chose from which will cycle through each of them each time you move the light.
